The chance of taking in a Christmas movie atop one of London’s best hotels returns this month as The Berkeley in Knightsbridge once again turns its roof-top terrace into a mini festive cinema.
Snuggled beneath down feather Moncler blankets, guests (and the public on weekdays) can sip home-made hot chocolate and nibble on freshly baked mince pies while taking in a Christmas movie classic at what could be the capital’s most exclusive cinema experience with just six seats.
From custom-made cabins-for-two, the cinema’s visitors can watch winter classics like “Miracle on 34th Street” or “The Nightmare Before Christmas” on the pine-filled terrace overlooking Hyde Park above the bustling shopping streets of Knightsbridge.
Added cosiness comes in the form of hot water bottles and heating lamps, and guests staying at the Berkeley can book the winter cinema on a complimentary basis. For non-guests a screening will cost £55 per person, or it can be upgraded to £70 to include a glass of champagne and canapés.
The winter cinema is open at The Berkeley Hotel, Wilton Place, Knightsbridge, London SW1 until 31 January. For more information visit the hotel website.
